FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

The practical things people ask before requesting a visit. Practical answers about requesting and managing a visit.

Is sending a request the same as booking?

No. A request is not a confirmation. Every request is reviewed personally and receives one of four outcomes on your chosen channel: confirmed, an alternative time proposed, more information needed, or not confirmed / unavailable.

Will I see available time slots online?

No. This site shows no live availability and reserves nothing automatically. The exact time of your visit is confirmed with you personally.

How will I receive the answer to my request?

Through the contact method you chose in the form — a phone call or a WhatsApp message. Every later update arrives the same way.

How will you contact me — and do you need my email?

You leave your name and phone number, and choose whether you prefer a phone call or a WhatsApp message. An email address is optional.

Do I need to bring identification?

Yes — every individual visitor brings their own identity document on the day of the visit. A passport if you are travelling from abroad; an Israeli Teudat Zehut if you live in Israel. It is for the security check at the entrance to the Diamond Exchange complex.

Just as important: this website never asks for its number, or for copies, scans or uploads. Your document stays in your pocket until the visit itself.

Can I arrive on my own?

Yes, self-travel is welcome. It will still require a request and a confirmed date and time — visits happen by confirmed appointment.

Will I need parking?

The request form includes one optional parking-planning question. Parking instructions are provided after visit confirmation. Selecting Yes does not reserve parking or confirm the visit.

Can I bring family or friends?

Yes — you state the number of visitors in the request form. Every individual visitor brings their own identity document, and a group may well bring both kinds: an Israeli host arrives with a Teudat Zehut, a friend visiting from abroad with a passport.

Can I change or cancel a confirmed visit?

Yes — through Manage Visit. One safeguard worth knowing: a rescheduling request will never cancel your current confirmed appointment by itself; it will stay active until a replacement time is confirmed — or until you explicitly cancel.

What does it cost?

There is no separate charge from Chosen Moment for sending a request or for the consultation. No product prices are published on this site; pricing is discussed in person, during a consultation.

Am I expected to buy something?

A consultation does not oblige you to buy anything.

Can visitors from abroad reclaim the VAT?

Where the selling company takes part in the tax authority's arrangement for tourist VAT refunds, it issues the official document at the time of purchase, for a visitor from abroad taking the purchase out of Israel. Not every company takes part, and the arrangement carries its own conditions — on the purchase, on your standing as a visitor, and on taking the goods out of the country — so whether it applies is settled with the company at the time rather than assumed here. The refund itself is claimed at the airport on departure, from the operator there and under its conditions — neither the selling company nor Chosen Moment processes it, and neither can guarantee it.

What happens to my details?

Your request is sent to Chosen Moment, and the same text also opens as a message you can send yourself from WhatsApp or by email. The details are used only to review your request and contact you about it, they are kept for the periods set out in Privacy, nothing is passed onward without your explicit consent, and identity-document data is never collected. More in Privacy.

Where does the visit take place?

Exact meeting details are shared together with your confirmation, through the contact method you chose.
